Turning Overwhelm into Opportunity
For David Keeler, founder of Taskflow, helping entrepreneurs move from digital chaos to structured success isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. With a background in photography and videography, David has built a thriving media company with his wife. Now, his focus is on empowering business owners to get organized, boost productivity, and reclaim their time. David has turned his love for solving problems into a business that delivers clarity and peace to his clients. In this month’s feature, we dive into David’s story, his goals for Taskflow, and how his Flywheel membership continues to support his journey.
Briefly explain what it is you do and what your business is.
I am a photographer and videographer. I own a media company with my wife, but my main focus right now is my new coaching business called Taskflow. I help business owners get digitally organized and I help them set up systems for productivity. I help them take care of the details so that they can spend more time growing the business.
What inspired you to start your business? What is your favorite part about owning your own business?
The fact that everyone struggles with the overwhelm of the digital age. No one has enough time. Everyone is busy and stressed – and I’ve worked hard to build systems in my life and my business that help solve those problems. I also remember my grandpa saying I should start a business where I teach old people how to use technology. I think that idea morphed into what Taskflow is now. I love solving problems. I get to solve a variety of problems for others and myself every day. I also love being able to make my own schedule!
How do you stay motivated and inspired in your work?
I think the work I do inspires me to do more work. Every time I provide someone with an “aha” moment. It’s hard to beat that feeling of helping someone and they instantly see the results.
I also think that carving out blocks of time in my week for what Cal Newport calls “high-quality leisure” is crucial to my motivation. Going on a walk, reading, running, hanging out with friends – these are the moments where I get my best ideas and get motivated to get back to work.
What’s your vision for the future? What professional goals are on the horizon?
- Help more people go from chaos to peace in their business.
- Start a YouTube channel.
What advice would you give to others looking to make a positive impact in the industry?
Everyone’s an expert in something. Who are you a little bit ahead of in a certain area? How can you serve them?
How has your membership at Flywheel and the community here helped you reach personal and professional goals?
I have made so many great connections at Flywheel. It’s a community I can serve, learn from, and be inspired by.
