1. What inspired you to start Abundance Capital?
To help people do more good, better… radically expanding the impact philanthropy can have in building more sustainable communities.
2. What is your favorite part about owning your own business?
The range of problem-solving and strategy development required… and creatively necessary to blaze new trails.
3. How do you stay motivated and inspired in your work?
By staying as present as possible, taking time to actually think and reflect… and cherishing the different people I’m fortunate enough to serve and interact with.
4. What’s your vision for the future? What professional goals are on the horizon?
At this point in my career, I try not to spend too much time forecasting the future. The ultimate prize to me is winning as many people to this work as possible.
5. What advice would you give to others looking to make a positive impact in the startup world?
Have an abundance mindset. Take the long view, remembering that your current venture may just be setting you up for bigger success in your next one.
6. How do you see yourself contributing to the Flywheel community and supporting other members?
Always happy to explore ways I (or Abundance) can support the work of others. I love connecting folks with each other!
7. How has your time at Flywheel and the community here helped you reach personal and professional goals?
It’s rejuvenating to be around like-minded people, and community is down the center of our work.
