What do you do?

“I am a solutions consultant. I work with companies to develop their digital testing strategy. We test devices, software, hardware, etc. We are basically digital crash test dummies. My role is to work with the customers to make sure all that happens.”

Why do you do what you do?

“I’m good at it and i really like it. It’s a cool opportunity to test things before people even know they existed, like your phone or headphones.”

What inspired you to join the Flywheel community?

“A place to work was a necessity for me. I was looking for an office and when I found Flywheel I thought it was a really cool place with a great atmosphere. I like how it’s modern and how I get the chance to get to know a lot of different people that work here.”

What is something you can’t live without?

“The internet. It is absolutely where I spend 80% of my conscious time.”

What do you do?

“I am the owner and founder of an advertising agency called 0 Grad, which is German for 0 degree where I am a graphic designer working with a network of freelancers.”

Why do you do what you do?

“I wanted to be my own boss, that’s the first reason. I think I like it because I get to have other companies put themselves in the right place, to help them improve their own businesses, to put the key message of the company in the right light. I’m not the ‘normal’ agency who claims to be the best, I’m the one who really wants other companies to improve.”

What inspired you to join the Flywheel community?

“I live in Switzerland and I’m here visiting my boyfriend who is here for research. I was looking for a place that I could work… When I found Flywheel, it was perfect for me because the beer is free. And it was nice to have a space with a bunch of different people, not just one company. I like to be inspired by people from all different professions. And I also like the fish tank here, it reminds me of home.”

If you could be any animal, what would you be?

I always wanted to fly, so I would be an eagle.

I write code for MLB’s Web Media team, developing code for MLB and its partners including NHL, SNY, and HBO Now. The Web Media team supports video playback of live and archived games and highlights across phone, tablet, and desktop.

Why do you do what you do?

I’ve been interested in building things since I was a kid which led me to a Computer Engineering discipline, specifically in developing consumable products and engineering efficiencies that are visually appealing.

What inspired you to join the Flywheel community?

I wanted to find a more focused space where I can get work done away from my Jack Russell, who is always wanting belly rubs.

What do you do?

I’m a freelance copywriter and content creator, weaving words in the form of product descriptions, landing pages, blogs and more for my awesome clients.

Why do you do what you do?

Aside from clothing, sustenance, shelter and the startling amount of pet food I need to buy on the regular, I love writing and I’m fortunate to have a very chatty muse. Divine inspiration is pretty much the only explanation for how consistently I manage to make supply chain logistics and slotted wooden pasta spoons sound equally exciting. I’m thoroughly grateful. 🙂

What inspired you to join the Flywheel community?

After my small herd of 7 cats managed to hurl themselves across my desk for the millionth time, something had to give – either my workspace, or my sanity. I split the difference. (Plus, hey, free coffee!)

Would you rather be able to fly or be able to become invisible?

I’d rather fly. Let’s be real – airline tickets are way too expensive and I’ve got places to be. I also feel like invisibility is more of a sneaky/mischief power, whereas flight is a helpful/useful power, and I’m all about helping others.

We are so excited to have these fine folks join our community here at Flywheel!
